FOCUS ON
In 2022, we expanded our historic partnership with Dassault Aviation on a new project. We created “Did you know?”, a new website section to showcase the brand’s heritage. The first series, “Focus On”, centered on top-tier technical innovations. Examples included the Falcon 6X zenithal window and the Rafale Marine’s landing gear. Our challenge was turning complex subjects into compelling visual stories. We also needed to build a strong series identity and integrate French and English.
Our strategy was simple. We treated each innovation like a piece of art. We designed a clean, immersive art direction. The aircraft sits in a dark, minimalist space on a slightly reflective floor. This choice focused all attention on the 3D modeling quality, texture details, and nuanced lighting. We use smooth camera movements to explore the aircraft, showing its lines and highlighting technical features.
Executing this vision was a choreography of details. A modern, elegant soundtrack guides the pace of each film. It shifts between slow exposition shots and faster sequences. We added a graphic overlay for a technical feel. This layer featured wireframe views and text inspired by engineering documents. The music was not simple background audio. It was fundamental to the series’ identity.
“Focus On” was an immediate success. It impressed our client and their employees. The videos became valuable communication tools for many departments at professional events. This achievement led directly to our next project together. We started production on a second season dedicated to the company’s history.
